Mamadou Ndiaye, Senegalese with miraculous hands who wanted to heal all of FranceI’ll tell you an unknown story. It’s a rocky story. The story of a small Senegalese who became a great man, the story of a seaman apprentice who became a formidable boxer in France and then a healer with miraculous hands. Mamadou has just over 54 cures on his own. Patients were flocking everywhere to get Mamadou treated. His success caused jealousy of the order of doctors in France which prevented him from exercising. Mamadou wasn’t a doctor but he was even treating the diseases that medicine couldn’t fix. He treated desperate cases. Born in 1909 in Diourbel, Senegal, Mamadou Ndiaye settles in Roubaix, northern France in December 1931, in the Pile district, after working for nine years as a seaman apprentice on navy ships Merchant. At the age of 22, Mamadou Ndiaye nicknamed ′′ The Black Panther ′′ quickly learned French from a missionary in Tourcoing, before converting to boxing by taking classes at the regional physical education center in Roubaix. In 1950 she founded the Colonial Boxing Club of Roubaix. At the same time, he finds himself a healing talent and exercises chiropractic, an unconventional manual practice that treats spinal pain. His reputation as an infallible healer is increasing to the point where even doctors direct their patients to Mamadou Ndiaye when they face desperate cases. Mamadou Ndiaye settles at 22 Place Carnot where he opens a healing cabinet, without permission. His reputation is growing. Patients are flocking from all over Europe to get treated at home. Mamadou manages to relieve her; Alice Viane keeps her promise. Both married the same year in 1951. But, Mamadou’s success sparks the jealousy of the doctor’s order, which lodges a complaint about the illegal practice of the profession. They’re going too hard on him. Mamadou Ndiaye is quoted twenty-twice in court. His last trial in 1967 before the Sixth Correctional Chamber of the Court of Grande instance in Lille will be resounding. As noted in an article from the local daily Nord Eclair of April 19, 1967, nearly 300 customers of Mamadou Ndiaye from La Sarthe, Paris and above all Belgium come to encourage him “.At the trial date, the healer has already issued nearly 23 medical certificates. During the hearing, the testimonies in his favor are chained. A doctor says he advised patients to go to Mamadou Ndiaye for appeasement. A priest has been treated at home by four times in fifteen years. Multiple patients claim they were rescued from death by Mamadou. Thankful, a young person healed by Mamadou as he was predicted to death net spears at the courtyard: ′′ You will walk on my corpse before touching a single hair of Mamadou “. The atmosphere is electric. The accused himself ends convincing the judges by healing the clerk who has terrible back pain. The lawyer who defends the healer, Senator André Diligent (who will become Mayor of Roubaix in 1983) can be satisfied: Mamadou is sentenced by the court to a symbolic sentence of 2 francs suspended and we return his material, contrary to the penalties laid down by law. The healer will continue to exercise until his demise, in 1985, at age 75 He reportedly issued a total of 54 medical certificates. He is buried in a snowy Roubaix cemetery in the presence of a large crowd of former patients and friends from all over Europe.
