President of United Republic of Tanzania, Samia Suluhu Hassan, recent visit to France has came at a right time with topical agenda at hands for Tanzania while the country is attacting massive attention from East to West and South to North!
The Samia’s visits to France reflect how much Tanzania foreign policy is becoming much aggressive to win the foreign direct investments(FDI’s) even in Francophone territories being a country strategy to deversify and achieve it’s dream of becaming one of the African economic giant!
This visit also open up Tanzania exports to France and be able to attain at least a balance of trade between the two countries comprising exports in Agrifood,forestry, fishery and aquaculture products!
Tanzania geopolitical and geo-economic advantages detect new opportunities for France companies especially in energy,transport and construction sectors to start up business empires here in Tanzania which also offers a strategic corridor for large African market of East Africa, Congo,Malawi and Zambia!
This is in motion with the 6th phase Samia’s government mission of winning global economic opportunities and promoting growth!
Samia’s State Visit to France sustain effort initiated by JAkaya Mrisho Kikwete who paid official visit to France in January 2013 and years later meeting with President Nicolas Sakozy in Paris!
Tanzania current foreign directives has been responsive & flexible to new challenges and realities without compromising the win-win situation!
Zanzibar is also expected to mutually benefit from this visit while the Isles is embarking on “Blue Economy” as one of topical discussion between Samia deligation and France,will be on global marine resources management!
Other issues of concern during this State Visit will be exchanging experience and building a tie on maritime security issues.
Tanzania being one of the country with possibility to face threats to ocean attended the so called “One Ocean Summit” in Brest,France to join the few world committed leaders on the same agenda!
The 6th phase government is pushing for win-win responsible investments so that Tanzanians can benefit through youth employment creation,before Samia leave the Office in 2030.
